We're sorry to see you go! This page will help you delete your LokRent account.

⚠️ Important Warning

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once you delete your account:

All your profile information will be removed
Your clothing listings will be permanently deleted
Your chat history will be erased
You will lose access to all platform features
Any ongoing rental arrangements will need to be completed offline

Temporary Deactivation: Hide your profile temporarily instead of permanent deletion
Privacy Settings: Adjust your privacy settings to limit who can see your information
Account Cleanup: Remove specific listings or information instead of your entire account

Account Deletion Process

To delete your account, you have the following options:

Option 1: Delete Through the App

Open the LokRent mobile app
Go to Settings → Account Settings
Select "Delete Account"
Follow the confirmation steps
Your account will be deleted within 24-48 hours

Option 2: Email Request

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us with the following information:

What Happens After Deletion

Immediate: Your profile and listings become invisible to other users
Within 24 hours: Your account is permanently removed from our active systems
Within 30 days: All your personal data is completely purged from our databases
Legal retention: Some anonymized data may be retained for legal compliance purposes

Data Export (Optional)

Before deleting your account, you can request a copy of your data:

Profile information
Your clothing listings and photos
Chat history (where legally permissible)

Rejoining LokRent

If you delete your account and later decide to return, you'll need to create a completely new account. Your previous data cannot be recovered after deletion.
